After months of work, our NHRF documentary Blu-rays finally arrived today… and they look absolutely beautiful.

Unfortunately, due to a production issue, the discs themselves are not functioning correctly across multiple systems (Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and standard Blu-ray players). We’re incredibly disappointed, especially after putting so much care into this project.

Rather than let the documentary sit unseen, Jim & Andy over at Quiet Ambition Films decided to release the Extended Cut / Ren Faire Version online for everyone to enjoy.

This version includes:
• More faire footage
• More faces and candid moments
• Extended scenes and atmosphere
• More of the heart and spirit of the community we love

We made this because we care deeply about the people, memories, creativity, and magic of faire life — and at the end of the day, we just want people to be able to experience it.

Hey everyone,

We just wanted to clear something up real quick.

There was an image/article going around that mentioned jousting at this year’s New Hampshire Renaissance Faire. We want to make sure there’s no confusion, there will not be a joust at the 2026 faire.

We are absolutely interested in bringing jousting to the faire in the future, and it’s something we’re actively looking into. It just hasn’t come together yet, and we want to make sure that if and when it does, it’s done right.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

That said, we’ve still got a lot of great stuff lined up this year, performers, vendors, food, all the good faire things, and we’re really excited for May.
